There was a meeting today of the officers of Derby City Camaro Club & Music City Camaro Club with officials from Bowling Green Area Convention & visitors Bureau, National Corvette Museum Motorsports, Beech Bend Raceway & Park and via conference call Mike Lee & Joe (sorry, I could not hear the last name (C5 mod & GM). We discussed the roles the co-hosting clubs will play in helping with the Fest and coordinating & planning for the event. We then toured the NCM track facility, Beech Bend Raceway & visited the host hotel & nearby hotels.

Many of us locals are well familiar with the Beech Bend Raceway from attending the LS Fest and other events there and some of us had already taken either parade laps or driven in track events at the NCM track, but for some it was a first visit to Bowling Green.

Bowling Green is very good at hosting these events having not only hosted Holley LS Fest for several years but also events like Impala SS clubs of America, Tri-Five Nationals, Good Guys Nostalgia Nationals, NMRA All-Ford World Finals, ChallengerFest, NMCA Muscle Car Nationals, Pontiac US Nationals & Holey National Hot Rod Reunion. They are very excited to have CamaroFest there this year. MCCC & DCCC are very excited to be the co-hosting clubs for the event and look forward to helping it go very smoothly.

So here are some pics of todays visit so you can get some visuals on where the Fest will be taking place this year.

As of today there are 50 rooms available at the Hampton Inn and 60 at the Holiday Inn Express. Then of course there are the 2 new hotels Fairfield Inn (opening soon) & another new one down town Hyatt Place.

Thanks for all the pix! That shot of the host hotel with "The Grounds". What are those for? Almost looks like a mini track lol!
