Derby City Camaro Club - Sends Care Packages to Afghanistan!
Update: Derby City Camaro Club, Louisville KY
During the clubs first Holiday Celebration held earlier this month, the group took up a collection of donated items to send to the 101st Airborne stationed out of Ft. Campbell KY and currently on deployment in Afghanistan. The DCCC members came out in force and showed such support that the group was able to put together Eleven, Yes, Eleven boxes for the troops! Working in conjunction with the Operation Resilient Warrior Group out of Ft. Knox, KY who assisted with the shipment, all the packages arrived on Christmas Eve, just in time for the Holidays! I just wanted to share the Great Job that all our Club Members did! Jim Wilkins, President Derby City Camaro Club Louisville, KY Last edited by J Wilkins; 08-20-2015 at 07:46 AM. |

Glad to be a part of this. Happy to make someone overseas know that we are thinking about them when times are hard away from their families.

I was very proud of the club. Sasuke's trunk was stuffed full by the time we left the party that night. I was so relieved when Chris got the boxes in time for Christmas. I was afraid I may have shipped them to late.

It is amazing that most of our members never meet Chris personally. But came together to do a good deed for him.. It shows we all truly honor and respect our Troops.. DCCC is an awesome group of people And I am proud to be a part of this club..
