I had my Gen 5 outside for 5 years. Never got clogged up. Works as designed, nothing wrong here.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

You can get water on that part, the light housing is equipped and can get wet.

Every time I wash my car I always dry those spots by the trunk hinges

wash your car and run the water by the trunk for a while

Lots of soot/dirt in these crevices (both sides); looks like the wind deposited all this dust and leaves in it (I park the girl outside )

Now I'm not sure how to clean it out, I can't just run a hose on it, the opening leads to the taillights. Again, does water go through there seeing that so much dirt can get in, I'm sure water does too.

Any ideas? I don't want to damage anything.
WTF is a baby-maro?

Desert landscape here in So Cal, Valley and High Desert. I wax often and use carnauba quick-detailer after every wash.

Are you suggesting I run water to clean that? where does the water exit?

Behind the rear fascia/bumper cover. It just drains down onto the ground.
