AGP TT kit recommendations

Hey.

I have 15 1LE that is bone stock.

I'm looking for some input on a set up with goals of making of making 700 rwhp. 700 isnt set in stone, it's just a number I liked.I could live with 6-650 if it's safe/reliable and not pushing the limits. I don't drive the car daily, but I would like to have that same feel. I don't track my vehicles or drag race, just a little street fun from time to time. I live in Washington state and 92 is the premium gas offered, I have read about e85 and meth setups, and I wouldn't mind doing meth and a safe tune since I'd like to stay on pump gas and not do anything to the stock bottom. I'm not loaded up with cash but I can afford to go with a little more than the base kit.

I hope I've painted a decent enough picture.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You're on the right track with the AGP turbo. They push out 700hp easily and everyone who owns one seems tickled with it. But you need to think hard about the E85. It requires a fair amount more money because of all the fuel capacity it requires. You're looking at a return style high volume fuel system and big injectors. It's probably about $1500 more. Maybe less. The guys at AGP can probably hook you up with everything right off the bat.

I think the base AGP kit can get you to 700 without E85. Especially with 92 octane. Decent fuel.

But there's something to be said for overbuilding your fuel system up front and only paying for it once.

Base kit should be all you need with the right fueling.

What would be considered an overbuilt fuel system over what I have now and what would come in the base kit? I'm definitely only interested in doing it one time.

We've got the whole package that will make 800whp on your 100% bone stock car, flex fuel enabled to switch between fuel at any time. Makes 700whp on pump and we stop at 800whp on E85 on stock LS3. Stock cam, stock exhaust etc.

Fuel system is dual 450's in tank, -8 feed, regulator under the hood and flex fuel sensor, etc. Will support 1000+whp on E85 later.

First of all, AGP rocks.

Buy as much fueling as you can afford. You will likely grow into it. I did LPE twin fuel pumps and ID-1000 injectors before I even knew I'd ever consider E85. Glad I did, got all fueling covered to maximize the potential of a stock rolling block now. BTW, I still have over 120rwhp untapped because of my stock internals. Wish I could up the boost but won't until forging happens.

If you could PM me with some quotes on the setups you mentioned I'd be one step closer to making a deal

Same boat as you, just waiting for my AGP kit to show up and then it's game time I went with the base kit. My goal for now is 550-600whp and then decide from there.

When it comes to fuel, go big, especially if your in the E85 market. If AGP says they have what you need, then id run with it. A Squash or fore setup will set you back more than 1500 not including injectors.

If your looking to make 700 then get a fueling system that will support 1000whp. Ask me how I know.

As for AGP, you gotta watch those guys, they like to help people and have a tendency to answer any and all questions. Oh yea, they make a killer product too. Just be carefull, the speed/horsepower bug can bite hard.

What I meant by $1500 I mentioned above was not that it was the total cost of the pump + injector. But rather it will probably cost him $1500 additional as compared to the base pump + injector set up that he will need anyway just for the base AGP kit.

What does AGP send out with their base kit for a pump and injector?

I would call Kevin at AGP. I know they have quite a few options to look at.
And 1KillerSS is 100% correct, it is a great kit with amazing results.
Look up my dyno on utube.

That's exactly what I took away from what you wrote. If I'm not mistaken, my car should have come with the zl1 pump...so it was my intent to go with the msd bap, and from what I have seen playing around with different vendors offering the agp kit it looks to me like 850cc injectors.

I was planning on doing BB turbos, but now I'm thinking I should take that extra money and put it in a clutch or like others have said and build fuel.

The first few lines I agree 100% with and if i could do it all over again I would of went bigger on the fuel system like they are recommending
