Some Camaro drivers are idiots!

I’m coming home from vacation on the interstate passing a tractor trailer. Speed limit was 65 so I’m doing 70 passing the truck. I seen a yellow Camaro in the left lane and he was back at least 7-8 car lengths before I moved over. I get halfway on the side on the truck and the jerk in the Camaro comes up on my bumper I couldn’t even see his headlights. Stupid MF’er

There are idiots that drive every make of car and truck on the roads now all over the country! I hate tailgaters too and it really pisses me off to no end!

Sounds like he was driving at a higher rate of speed that you didn’t judge correctly with no enough time to pass the truck at yours and his speed. I would of done the same thing if that’s the case. People love to move in the left lane in front of faster cars then mosey instead of letting the faster car by then taking their time.

I wasn’t there so maybe he was just mad you got in front of him just explaining the other side (there’s always an otherside) if he was moving faster when you moved over.

Passing at 70 in a 65 is slow, sorry, it is IMO.

again, no excuse to tailgate at 70 mph.

I've seen people SPEED UP more often than not when you change into their lane, and then tailgate you like you got in their way. I just ignore jack@sses like that.

Hell, that's just one story...I could go on & on. Now I am in the oil patch & do drive more than most with an average of 300-400 daily, but something is weird down this way.

It Must be a deep south tx deal or just plain ole irony repeating itself constantly, but man it seems like if you drive a honda CR-V there must be some sort of idiocy / discourteous prerequisite testing that takes priority before even checking credit rating before ownership can happen?? Never seen anything like it.

Obviously he was driving a race car, and he wanted to go fast. Seems like when I am out, everyone wants to show me how much faster their race car is compared to my ZL1.

Happen to me about two weeks ago coming back from a wedding in Nashville. I was in the right lane came up on a 18 wheeler waited for the cars next to me to pass had about a 50 yards of opening so turned on my blinker moved over and as I changed lane I see this infinity SUV hit the gas to try and close the cap. I was already in the left lane once he caught up he flashed his lights, rode my bumper and flipped me off. I didn’t know that infinity SUVs were the only ones with left lane privileges on I40..what and idiot

So it’s not just Camaro drivers

When folks ride my butt, I figure I should slow down to help them maintain a safe distance.... might have taken me 10 miles to pass that truck safely.

When I see someone haulin ass, no matter how far they are behind me, I look to make sure I have enough time so as not to get in their way. If I feel like there isn't enough time or that I would have to accelerate faster than I care to then I just wait until they pass me. But some people do not extend that courtesy. Like you, I am not sure exactly what happened. It could be that the guy was just in a rush. When people are on my tail like that and there is no lane free for them to pass me then I move aside.
