Granted, that does not answer how the 10 speed may change performance time numbers.
Appears it doesn't have the dynamic cylinder deactivation like the trucks will get.

Completely apples to oranges, but by 6l80 is holding 200hp more than my car made stock with no issues. I'm sure the 6l90 is better, but there was lots of extra room with the 6l80.

Looks like the a10 is doing fine in modded raptors. I would think that’s the biggest load on them so far

OMG, I love this thread. Chevy accomplished more than they ever could have ever wished for as there is more talk/press on the Camaro now. With that, here’s what happens next. All you haters will go buy 2018s which will drive Camaro Sales. Then when the new one actually comes out, there will be another group of people that want the latest and greatest and it too will sell. Win/Win. My 2 cents - love the tail lights. Like the new look but am used to the bow tie being higher so that will take some time to appreciate.

Sure, but what GM version is the Ford Raptor version similar too?

I did not see where they mentioned that specifically? Maybe they did not want to couple the appearance of this refresh with a potential of a one cylinder car?

Not to get way off of topic. But would be interested to see if GM is working with the possibilities of having both direct & port injection system.

Seems the same tranny as the one in Tahoe RST?
If so not much to worry about as this 5600+lb suv comes with 460 tq...
Anyone knows if SS 1LE will also be available with the auto, or just 6 speed?

All 1LE models are six speed manual only...no automatics...

I just can't get past this wheel....Why would you want a wheel that looks like it has been damaged or in a wreck?....Will there be a curb-rash version available that costs extra?
How would you explain to a dealer they damaged your wheel when it looks like this to begin with? Each wheel can only go on one corner?...Good luck buying a replacement or keeping them "symmetrical" after you get some new tires...

Sorry, maybe it's no big deal, but definitely not a fan of these...polished ones look even worse....

Transmissions have never really been a weak point for GM. Save for a few torque converter issues on the A8. But for the most part they build these things with a lot of head room in terms of capacity limit.

Same wheel side to side, so you only have front size and rear sized wheels

I know rears and fronts are different widths. But just going side to side will reverse the look of the spokes, and be rotating in opposite directions...

Until we know if both sides are the same, not sure....

Or I'm going crazy over nothing...lol...
