I for one will not be rewarding this f**king stupidity by running out to buy tickets for a game. Nor will I be watching any of the televised games. I'm done with this $hit and really hope that this latest lockout results in the demise of all but a hand full of teams.

As for Bettman, he should have been gone a long time ago. Anyone who thinks putting an NHL team in the middle of the desert is a good idea really has no business being involved in an ice sport anyway.

No offense to anyone but it's kind of surprising to me how some people can get so bent out of shape because of this lockout. I mean yeah it sucks for everyone but is a few people not buying tickets or watching games really affecting anyone, besides those who are missing out on watching NHL hockey which hasn't been played since June?

I for one will definitely be watching games and going to Nashville and St. Louis to watch the Red Wings.

Don't know if we should start a new thread, but, any predictions on a cup winner for the abbreviated season????

They've been gabbing about Boston and the N.Y. Ranger's as the favorites. The Hawks have 10 of their first 12 games on the road so I'm thinking they'll stumble out the gate but Detroit and Nashville are believed to make some noise again with Edmonton and Toronto as sleepers.

I think it could be a "anybody can win" type situation.
Now it really comes down to who stays the healthiest and getting hot at the right time.

Yeah a 5-2 win is always nice but the philly/pitt game was on over here too, probalby one of the better rivalries over the last few years.

Yeah those games are always gonna be good! Watched some of that game, the beginning of the Hawks/Kings game, and some of the Devils game. And as a lifelong Devils fan...thanks for ruining the Kings' celebration yesterday
