Taking a 40 mile ride to de-mod question

Thanks to the new smog law California is looking at the computer for mods.

I need to drive 40 miles to have the computer reflashed back to factory after I reinstall the stock air cleaner, my tuner said in the past there is not a big window in the computer's ability to self adjust.

I'm hoping it doesn't run pig rich with the stock air cleaner, what do yiz think?
