2013 / Leak from brake fluid housing- Can't decide whether it's the cap or resevoir.

Is this a common setback? Some drips of fluid landing below the fluid housing unit. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Trying to attach pic for a better understanding.

Lot's of good info here - https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=367329

Basically you'll need to find some thin plastic to cutout and space the rubber seal down inside the cap a bit, then the cap fits tighter.

if any has dripped onto the painted area below the reservoir, clean it up as quickly as possible. This happened in my 2014 2LTRS and the paint bubbled badly where the brake fluid hit it.

My dealer blamed an aftermarket cap I had on it, but this is an issue on these cars and even my 2014 SS with stock cap isn't as tight as it should be.

I used the plastic from a gallon milk container 8 years ago. And have never had a problem since.
