Got the first oil change done today at 1100 KM. The car was on the dealer lot for a few months before I bought it, so I definitely wanted to get the first one done early and clear out that factory oil.

Took it out for an evening drive and ran into the usual blind spot problem -- trying to see out of the passenger quarter window in order to make a 45 degree left turn. I was able to but it is a scary experience because I cannot really see if there is a car from 5 o'clock. The blind spot monitoring does not help as cars will be too far away for the blind spot monitoring to be activated.

Installed the http://www.c7carbon.com front splitter. Install took fifteen minutes.
Seems sturdy. Looks good. More pics when the car is clean.

Finally got to take one of my uncles for a ride. He was VERY hesitant, because, well, he knows how I drive. He absolutely LOVED it. My aunt is a little bent about it though....he wants one now.

Added my first mod to the car..some red hot seat harness that stitched CAMARO for the back seats since no one will ever sit back there..lol
