Clutch Return Spring Install

How do you put the spring on? Middle first then sides, sides first then middle or one side first then middle then other side? Thanks

Are you putting stock one back on and if so why? I am getting ready to remove mine and just wondering.

Yes, putting stock one back on. Had it off for little over a week and want to see if pedal depression feels any ezer with spring on. Pedal release/engagement is definitely smoother /more linear

Not yet. After trying a while I think the middle of the spring has be inserted into its slot first, then both sides need to be compressed simultaneously in order to shorten the spring to fit in the space you have to work with in order to insert the ends into their slots. There just didn't seem to be enough space to compress & insert one end at a time. It maybe that you even have to depress the pedal to provide enough room to compress & inserts the ends? In order to compress both sides of the spring simultaneously you need channel lock plyers which I don't have so I put off doing it for the time being.

Yeah I popped one side out and tried to snap a pic if I wanted to put it back in, I am not sure what the best way would be, It is really tight down there. Hopefully I won't be putting it back in.
