American Racing or Texas Speed

I have a 2022 ZL1 and I’m doing just about a FBO. Wanted to get thoughts on American Racing long tube headers or Texas Speed long tube headers. Thanks

I would choose Arh over Texas speed but thats just me.

Dont forget about kooks too, and even better the CSP headers by stainless works. By far the best fitment, and quality of materials.

Whats the wall thickness of the tubes on those vs tsp?

ARH or Kooks over the Chinese stuff any day. Just my 2 cents.

Kooks. I have had 5 sets of Kooks headers and 5 different cars and they all fit perfectly.

Currently have Kooks on both my C6 Grand Sport and Gen6 Camaro. Fit perfect.

I have also a few sets of ARH and I have always had clearance issues with them are areas where they came too close to the frame or lines.

I’m not exactly sure the thickness, but even when I changed from kooks to CSP I had much less pinging and cabin noise. There’s definitely a difference.

I’ve heard that a few times on kooks but not tsp or arh.

As for Figment, I believe there is an improvement in csp, but wonder what the trade off is on maintaining an equal length across the tubes

The fitment and the collector flange matters too. That round style band clamp on the header isnt great. I was always wrenching them trying to keep them sealed.

The 2 bolt flange on the CSP headers haven’t come loose at all and 0 leaks.

I do not like the band clamp connection.

I’ve heard that American Racing is better quality. Think I’m going to go with them. Two inch with no cats

I used TSP on my Hellcat and used them again for the ZL1. No issues.
