Question Damn, that was quick. How could this happen?

So I placed my order for my 2012 SS last Thursday, and today look at the tracking info and it's already at status code 3000! This means that they're basically getting or ordering all the materials. So my question is: how could that have happened so fast?

When I ordered my 2011 it definitely took a lot longer than that.

Thanks.

Just not as many orders as there were in the past. All cars slow down on special orders when local lots have a large selection

I know, I'm not upset. His comment can be seen as a little condescending though.

What kind of Time Frame does that present for you? Like, how long between order and take possession? I'm looking to order a car in February for spring, and was wondering when it would arrive.

That's a very good question, and is has a good deal to do with my own question. I guess it all comes down to demand, like anything else in business. Like I said, I had to wait a lot longer for my 2011, and let's not even talk about how long the 2010 guys had to wait lol.

Now, I guess people are just buying whatever's on the lot or buying used, therefore, the guys at Oshawa can move a little faster when an order comes in. I'll let you know when I get mine, since you're probably looking at a very similar wait time.

If you factor in the holidays, I'm probably looking at early - mid January for delivery.

I was surprised too, I was hoping to get mine in mid-late Feb, and ordered last weekend. I already have a TPW of 12/12, you might get in on that time frame.

That would be awesome ^. For anyone's that's interested, after the car reaches 3800, it's usually about 2-3 weeks after that, that you may actually take delivery. Anakte, you're very close.
