So a little update, the Magnuson car made 525/525 on 91 pump Dynojet.

Whipple car is in for a TX Speed Stage 1 S/C cam upgrade.

Let's see how far the stock F/P and booster will go....I have a feeling we will run out of pump.....already seeing FPCM duty cycle in the 80% range with the booster to maintain requested pressure.

I'm thinking ZL1 pump? Should support this kind of HP esp with the booster in there?

With a ZL1 pump, ADM FPCM, LS9 cam, 3.75" pulley, LT headers, and full 3" exhaust, my car made 675/580. I am about 350' above sea level.

Car has changed some since then...

Very nice!

What fuel were those numbers made on?

Those numbers were made on pump 93. I will also add that I was definitely at the limit of that fueling setup.

Sweet. I'm pretty excited to finish this one up! I'm thinking getting that DOD cam out and something more boostie friendly in will make a pretty big jump indeed.

I'm sure a ZL1 pump will be in order shortly afterwards as well.....was getting pretty close to the limit before duty cycle wise. PSI was holding.....but my guess is after the cam, that will no longer be the case.

Not sure on the injectors, I was hovering around 70% duty cycle pre-cam....we'll see there as well...

Hada Magi Heartbeat fitted in 2017. No issues with it ever. Looks like the factory installed it, everything fits and looks real nice. Makes plenty of power (prob enhanced because of supporting mods) at about 7lbs boost it's not hard on the motor either. Docile when driven normally but when you pin that pedal....

Very nice. Thanks guys!

My Magnuson guy really loves his, great power after installing the supporting mods and has been solid.

The Whipple car I just finished up this cam install on, tuning it now. I have a feeling i'll be out of injector and pump right out of the gate.

Green, what boost level are you running on your setup?

3.75 pulley, tops out at 11psi at the top. I was at almost 12pis with the 3.875 pulley before the cam.

Update.

Whipple car runs stellar. Ran an 11.2@123 on 8psi/pump91+some Boostane additive. I left it at 8psi to keep it all safe, real good power at that boost level I think.

Magnuson car is in for Cam/fuel pump/pulley down upgrade now. We'll see how that one turns out. Same cam on both cars (TSP Stage 1 S/C camshaft).

Anyone by chance have an 84 and 81 MM pulley for the Magnuson Heartbeat kit?

Needing to up the boost a bit after a cam swap, and they appear to be on backorder at the time from Magnuson.....

TIA

Little update.

Whipple car made 623 at the wheels on 7psi

Very happy with those results!

Magnuson car made 600.23 on 7psi, also very pleased.

Both were running 98 Octane/19 degrees timing.
