I'm the original owner of my Camaro. I removed that engine cover on the day I bought the car. It's been on my garage wall ever since.
Problem solved.

Junk it. Use as garage wall art. I read somewhere years back that the cover was a part-solution to engine valvetrain noise. Can't hear any valvetrain noise on mine due to the exhaust diverters and a whining magnuson...

Hey i get great ideas from everyone here. Couldn't have done half the stuff without this forum or youtube. Just above my post I like the routing of vacuum lines Tarendor's camaro, i see tees that really clean up those lines. And thanks it was a tremendous amount of work and learning that went into engine bay.

What is the advantage of the X-Air filter and is the air fed via a hood scoop?
