Rev limiter, speed limiter probably, and I think in some cars it keeps you to about 25, and may not even let you drive for an extended period of time. Similar to other cars that have a second key specifically for it.

Not sure where you been running your C6 at but I have a stock ZL1 and I beat Z06's on a regular basis not to mention a GS at the drag strip. My fastest time is a 11.77 et. I did have the fastest stock ZL1 time until another guy ran an 11.71. I love the new C7 and will probably get one to go with the Camaro SS and the ZL1.

Not yet, I'm thinking the Bash at the end of the month may clear up weight/pricing, at least hoping so. It may be until production officially starts though until it's all finalized. But if they're taking their time announcing due to them trying to cut more weight I dont mind.

Any one planning on exercise or diet to keep the overall weight down?

If it weighs more than my 4th gen Camaro I'll be disappointed. Especially after they lost around 100 lbs from the frame.

My old 1998 Celica has such a tight vaccuum hold that you have to slam the living daylights out of the hatchback to make it shut. Invariably, every time a stranger (i.e. my husband or a mechanic) digs around in my hatchback they leave it open just a crack. I can't tell you how many times the battery was drained from the light back there being left on. I had to turn the light off eventually, which is a bummer when getting stuff out in the dark! LOVE this hidden feature! Suzy |

As you may already know, the C7 is sold overseas. Here are links to the brochure and equipment and price list for the UK:
https://www.chevrolet.co.uk/brochure...model=corvette https://www.chevrolet.co.uk/eap/corvette.pdf The US price doesn't seem so bad after you do the conversion from pounds to dollars. |
