How do I know which mobil 1 oil filter to get?

Can't get the nappa cuz it's not part of the sale.
Comes with a mobil 1, but many different sizes.
How do I know which fits the v6?

Try Mobil part # M1C254. I have an SS, but I checked two different parts stores and that # came up for the V-6.

most stores have reference books hanging off the shelf were the filters are stocked. maybe try that and see if it will show you which part # fits. most books usually show all of the various brands that the stores sell.

Yes and that is the correct filter for the V-6. The LS3/L99 V-8's use the canister type.

http://www.showmetheparts.com/mobil/

ps: 2ssjack is correct, it is M1C254

The Mobil 1 oil filter is one of the best oil filters out there
since it uses synthetic media and has a excellent design
for GM vehicles.
I only use 5W30 Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil and a Mobil 1 oil filter
and my engine sounds and runs great!
