AGP Endurance vs Race Intercooler for Street Use

Trying to find out if the Race cooler would be ok for street use here in the south?

Car is not a daily driver, but still want to be able to go for a long drive on a summer day without fear of cooling temps running too high. The car is an A6.

Thanks!
Brian

For what it is worth, our summers in Indiana will get to the high 90's and sometimes peek a little above 100. I have the race intercooler with my kit and also have a BTR stage 2 turbo cam. I will drive mine on those hot sunny days and even use my air conditioning without issue. If your on the fence, talk to Kevin at AGP, he won't steer you wrong.

Thanks!

I am ready to place the order. Just a little concerned with the 6L80 and heat. I will most likely end up doing an upgrade for the trans cooler

I guess I should talk to Kevin, what's the best way to reach him? PM here or by phone?

Thanks!
Brian

I have always called his shop, you'll have to check the time difference between S.C. and Arizona. He is usually in about an hour after their open time. He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. You will enjoy the kit. I'm 60 and it made me smile like a kid again....enjoy.

I have a factory trans cooler that sits in front of the A/C condenser does anyone know if the intercooler will fit without removing the trans cooler?
