Looks great! Congrats!

Be sure to let us know how FE is with the V6. I know it's kinda odd to worry about on a truck like the ZR2 but that 18 MPG highway rating really hurts, especially when the Duramax guys seem to have no problem hitting mid 20s.

Mid 20s without trying (literally). LWN can break 30mpg easy if you can behave. FYI I had 5 seats of pptl and 1,000lbs of furniture in the bed. Some of those with tune & exhaust have hit 40mpg.

Thanks! Will do. I'm looking forward to picking the truck up this coming week.

I finally picked it up today, after waiting almost 11 weeks! This truck is a lot of fun to drive.

That's not too bad... I waited 7 months for my Z71 lol

Nice rig, is that the standard red?

We are shopping for a white V6 crew cab short box . We have a dealer in Idaho that can order / build one for a good price . Been looking on auto trader nation wide . If any body see's a really good deal out there let me know . The base model with the Bose stereo upgrade is the only option / add on we want .

For those that dislike the look of the keyless entry pad, I did a little testing on my new 2500HD. It's a 2017 2500HD, but I expect the results to be similar to any of the vehicle that can be equipped with them. I was able to get my truck to unlock from nearly 20 ft away. You can get very creative with where you mount if you still want the keypad but would like it out of sight or hidden. I put mine under the lid of my toolbox.

Interesting...have you figured out if the batteries can be changed or something? Or does GM figure you'll just buy a new one or live without it when that time comes?

Thanks guys! I'm having a blast driving the truck.

@ Corner Carver, yes it's the standard red, "Red Hot." It is the closes thing they have to "Victory Red," that's on my Camaro SS. I just call all of them either ambulance or fire truck red.
