New to the forum and new to GM!

Hello all! Brian here representing southern California. Just picked up a 2013 white LS 6speed daily driver. Going to do a few engine mods, add fog lights, spoiler, maybe a new front bumper and projector headlights. I've been working on cars for 16 years, always Toyotas and pretty much that's where I learned about cars mostly. Have worked on a few domestic friends cars, but over all pretty much know my way around a shop. New to GM, never had a chevy before and was nervous to buy American but if I was going to it wasn't going to be dodge or ford. Fords are expensive to fix and need to be fixed a lot. Dodges are like a super hot girl, they may look nice but after a while you figure out they have a ton of problems, cost you too much and aren't worth it . Anyways, hope to meet some knowledgeable people on here and get some feedback as well give feedback when I learn enough to be knowledgeable myself.

Its my daily driver now, gotta love that 6spd in traffic in orange and LA county

. But I love it, every day I drive it I feel like I made the right choice. Got the color I wanted, great price and shes already got tint and some 18" wheels I can sell and then use the money for some 19-20" black ones that I like. I have to say So far the MPG's aren't where I thought they would be, but with a tune up, sea foam, and a few mods I hope to bring the average up from 21 to 22-23 range.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
