To be honest, I really don't understand the appeal of the ghost cam. It's supposed to make the engine sound like it has a high overlap cam I guess, but it's all fake.

I've watched the videos on Youtube and it sounds like crap. It makes the engine sound like it has a bad injector or something. No thanks.

Honestly man, i'm getting headers, mrt v1 with a mag x-pipe and from what i've heard it sounds really good with the ghost cam especially with the vitesse because from my understanding, it idles higher depending on the setting?

Well not the answers i'm looking for, i'm not asking if it sounds bad, i'm asking if it's bad for the engine.

(No offense) but some details about if it's bad for the engine would be nice, thanks.

Some people say it does mess up your engine and some don't. Ghost cam only activates when your on Idle. It's just for show and it does sound good if you got the right exhaust system.

All it's doing is tightening the LSA. I have heard it washes the cylinders because of the unburnt fuel.

Isn't this the guy who just bought his car and the motor blew? If so I would be waiting to see if its going to be alright before I started modding it or any warranty on the repairs will be void....

Ghost cam tunes can cause stalling, surging, and other drivability issues, also they only activate when the engine is a certain temp. I wouldn't recommend it.
