I always though the head unit, dashboard and steering wheel re-design were good, but then the rest of the dash, like the AC vents, is really bland.

2014 2LT here. Hate is a strong word but minor things that could be improved/added:
-add climate control -seat belt gets twisted too easily -illuminated buttons for the garage door opener, gate opener, etc. |

My 1976 Lincoln has climate control and the 2012 Camaro doesn't I also hate the seat belt scraping my neck, the sunvisors, and the huge amount of hard cheap plastic on the interior. |

The only thing I hate about my Camaro is the name. I know some people say it means "companion", while some use the dumb explanation that "it's a creature that eats Mustangs". Either way, the name is weak. I like names with substance, something with meaning.
I'm no fanboy for any brand. That said, Mustang is a perfect name for a fast car. It makes me think of wide open spaces, wild, free, and America. That said, I like my ZL1 better than any Mustang including the Shelby.

I like the name Camaro just fine. It's unique. Mustang could refer to anything from a World War II fighter plan to a high school mascot.

Both the car and fighter plane refer to the wild horses of the American west. The first pony car and the greatest fighter jet ever made. Both are named very appropriately IMHO.
I'd rather the car be named a number like German cars instead of a made up word.

[QUOTE=Pcschwenke;7721097]My complaints of my wife's Camaro are:
3. The xm radio doesn't have a choice for favorite artists such as my Charger only for favorite stations. The mylink radio allows you to save favorite artists. At least my 2014 does. |

The general lack of quality in the whole car. My gas cap cover is a shade different than the rest of the car. Two problems with interior trim. Two electrics problems; BCM that disabled the TPMS and remote and one that disabled the top from going down. Bad handling. Incompetent mechanics at the dealership. All of the stated problems required multiple trips to the dealer for resolution (30 miles one way and no loaner so have to wait 3 - 4 hours each time). I was once told that FORD stood for Fix Or Repair Daily, but that seems to apply more to this car than to any of the many Fords that I have owned over the past 40+ years.
