Savagegeese will cost you a lot of time since his videos are freaking amazing Haha.
Partition off a few hours, and enjoy that show (esp the ZLE and GT350 vids)

So the million dollar question... do we need a catch can on our cars?? I am on pace for about 3K miles per year so... its gonna take 10 years for the intake valves to get all boogered up?? Plus how bad is the blow by on these LT4 motors? it could take 60K miles to end up like this... at that rate I will be in my 70's! lol

I am on the fence about this... I have heard a couple of warranty issues with these catch cans installed!

It should not be a warranty issue, but with some dealers it can be. Then you have to go through the fight to show it was not the source of the warranty claim. I plan on keeping my Z1 for a long time and wish to maximize performance, not allow it to degrade over time, slowly. The positive impact of a catch can on this engine is real. But I get the warranty issue concern and it is not a sexy mod either, no HP gain. Nevertheless, glad I have one.

I do get oil in mine, however, I don't think it's big of an issue as people make it out to be. I'm glad I have one installed, but I wouldn't lose sleep over not having one.

had one on the 2ss and it worked, on ZL dealer said it could be an issue with warranty even called GM they said it would be a problem there is a cleaner recommended by GM every so often (goes in intake) car runs like crap for a tank or two but valves come back clean according to dealer about 300 bucks, I notice no drop yet in performance at 13k probably do it at 20k... I have them shove a camera in there and look around. Not too fond of adding a treatment for the injectors I only use top tier fuel for that reason.... better additives.

If it’s not on there from the factory it doesn’t need it. Just my opinion. If it was that bad GM would install on there from the factory.

Great video. Thanks for sharing. Do we have direct and port injection together our LT1's?

Nope, the LT1 is a DI only engine.
