Hey all

Just bought my dream car in 5th Gen fashion!! I've always wanted a 67 RS/SS and it became out of reach and when they brought back the Camaro, I swore that someday I could now have it and I wanted the 2010 SS/RS ! It happened and I got more than expected (for the best). I do not know who the previous owner was but I can only speculate he was proud of his ancestry. I'm guessing this because of what such an artwork would cost and where it is displayed. I don't know how much luck I'll have tracking down the original owner's name or the artist but at least I have initials LOL... The CarFax shows the car bought new in N.C. in 2010 and a couple years later it was tagged in Florida. Don't know when the artwork was performed but it looks immaculate like the car with 76,000 miles. I am curious to the status of the previous owner and I have a female living in the rear of our neighborhood from a royal family. Anyway, my curiosity is getting the better of me. IF anyone can help me put this puzzle together. I would be grateful. Meet my 2SS/RS fully loaded Camaro!!! Thank-You!

Damn, that's really cool...if not a little weird. But cool nonetheless!

Beautiful car btw. Welcome to the site!

I agree it is kinda weird and it's sure to confuse the hell out of any that see it! If anyone asks me what it's all about, I'll tell them I bought the car from a great great grandson of the royal family of Wales of the Kingdom of England LOL!!!!! And thanks for the responses.

Killer car. Welcome to the ABM brother/sisterhood! We are small in numbers but have the best looking 5th gens made. (ok maybe at least in our minds) The grey and black 2 tone interior is pretty hard to find; not many were made in ABM with the two tone. Also you’ve already got a bunch of visual and under hood mods, that car was someone’s baby for sure. Nice that it already has a Heritage grill as well! Congrats, I look forward to seeing this one around more on here.

Well now, a veritable, ‘Coat of Arms’ Camaro. Pretty high on a cool (and slightly weird) quotient. But it beats tattoos of ancient Druid Gods on your face. Enjoy the car, worship the Karma!

Ya know, fortunately that art work is just airbrushed onto the hood insulation. New hood insulation and some fresh plastic clips and that one in the car can become excellent garage art if you don’t really care for it on the car.

Looks like it’s farkled up pretty good! I like the blue and white!

Welcome and congrats. I agree with ADVmax, when I looked at that picture on the hood insulation, luckily(if you don't like it or want it as garage art), you just have to buy new hood insulation and clips. On this forum, one of the most popular and truer opinions is "It's YOUR car, so do what YOU want to it. The car is beautiful so welcome

Just an FYI>> We did look at the wonderful receipts included with our purchase and found a name to which I sent a FakeBook request. The previous owner has answered and we drove 20 miles to their new home for dinner and a snack fest LOL.. Anyway, they gave me loads of records they had saved on the car and a fob of some of their car show videos! I have the $40,000 window sticker!!!! They have also put an additional $15,000 or so into the car for bling and the car show trips. They gave me what trophies they had and told me that they left the rest in Charlotte, North Carolina when they moved here a few years back. Anyway, I'm ecstatic with the amount of info I have in my hands now. And it's a great think to buy a car from someone that has it strictly for cars shows and keeps it up to date.

I will leave it as it draws a lot of attention and at car shows, that's a good thing. Attention to detail.. At least I know the background of King Edward and his son's death ( Prince Edward) at the age of 46 due to an illness, just in case I get asked. And thanks for all the responses!! We are a cool kind of family all our own. I take mine out every other Sunday to wake up the gods ......... OOOO that rumble!!
