This is CRAZY! Must see!!!!
Well. Check out that pic. Anyone know what those are. Bingo...... Melted down catalytic converters! Full SLP exhaust with high flow SLP Cats on a Boosted E-force 2010 SS.
I have heard that boosted cars on race gas can hurt your cats but wow. It threw them into the X-Pipe at the same time under acceleration and the back pressure caused a piston land to go bad. So had to forge the bottom end. Has this happened to anyone here??? Must know if this is common or if I'm just lucky

What brand cats where they? I have a set of kooks hi flows but I took them off shortly after I added my maggy because of this potential issue.

IIRC because of this issue a lot of ZL1 guys are running Kooks green cats.
