As much as I do like the interior, not a fan of the push button gear select

I really like the new "Hoe's" and "Burban's" especially the diesel.

This past March, we bought my wife a 2019 Terrrain Denali and it has the push-button shifter. Neither of us were certain at first, but she likes it now (a lot more console space) and for as little as I drive it, I don't mind it either.

Personal preference...

Yes I am a stick in the mud. I am not a fan of the push button gear select. Give me the steering column stick and floor shifters any day.

Same here as DRKS1D3,

Before our Terrain with the button selector I'd have said give me a console shifter, but the big amount of space saved trumps that, and honestly it just so simple to use. I like the buttons in the new Tahoe/Suburban.

I am sure it would take some getting used to, just not a fan of it.

I had a rental fusion with the dial and it did save a ton of space

Not a fan of button/dial shifters in trucks either but arguably they do save a lot of space.

It is kinda funny how Tahoe/Suburban (and I assume Yukon/Yukon XL) are getting a more modern push/pull button shifter while Escalade will have an older style EPS "console shifter."

That is something I find odd.

The current Tahoe has a 3rd row seat delete option. Has anyone seen this option for the new Tahoe?

Probably because it looks more elegant?

But most luxury brands seem to be going away from the shifter. Lincoln has the push buttons

Overall I was kind of disappointed to see the face looking like the Silverado, but I actually like it better. I think this looks better than the current gen and will sell well.

Also, that air suspension really does give some lift!

You know, the more I look at the Z71 Tahoe the more I see it as a Fairer successor of the K5 Blazer than the New Blazer is for the S10 Blazer. (Make it a Two door and Add a Diesel and Boom, the Halo Suv for GM)

I don't like it. Its a piece of heritage that makes the car seem incomplete IMO without it. I am all about change, but at a certain price point, I want what I want, and I'll buy it from whoever will give it to me.

The Colorado really needs these push buttons versus the shifter that takes up the center console space.
