Exactly what I expected... this will be a flop. I guess you can't fix stupid.

I actually like this unlike the Camaro redesign.

Looks nice. Too bad 19' Camaro did not get these head lights.

The only thing I hate about this car is the FWD proportions and huge front overhang. Jeez, just take a look at Volvos. They make their fwd cars to look like rwd.

Wait....what? You think that people are thinking back 30 years and confusing this with an off road capable vehicle? I don't think name selection is remotely an issue.

Size isn't clear but taking sales from Equinox may be an issue.

But this clearly isn't a Bronco competitor and I don't see that as an issue. From spwhat we've seen a bronco is going after Jeep and GM clearly isn't. Hummer.

They can’t seriously look at people with a straight face and tell them this will compete with the Grand Cherokee. The GC is rear wheel drive based and comes with either a V6 or V8, and has serious legendary Jeep off-roading capability.

This is front wheel drive based and has either a 4 banger or V6.

For the people and demographic who can afford it, trust me, they remember the REAL Blazer.

This ain’t no Blazer. Besides, the K5 was built until 1999, so it wasn’t 30 years ago that the original 1969 design ended.

I think you are confusing the S-truck Blazer with the K Blazer. The Tahoe replaced the old Full Size Blzer back in the early 80s. That, although I have gone off road in one, was not a Jeep competitor by any means.

I expect very little confusion.

Wrong.

The*K5 Blazer*was the smallest full size*SUV*version of the*Chevrolet C/K*family. Introduced to the*Chevrolet*line in 1969, the full-size Blazer was replaced in 1995 by the*Chevrolet Tahoe. In 1970,*GMCintroduced its own model of the truck, called the*Jimmy, which was discontinued in 1991 and replaced by the*GMC Yukon*in 1992.*

The Tahoe was introduced in 1991 and replaced the K5 Blazer in 1995, but was built on the same K5 frame until 1999.

My Uncle had 2 K5 Blazers, an ‘83 and a ‘94. Ran both into the ground and they rusted out befor the 350s even hiccuped. He only sold the ‘94 in 2007 with close to 200k on the odometer. You could do anything you wanted in a Jeep with the old K5. Right off the showroom floor you could do serious off roading and there was/still is tons of aftermarket goodies to lift ‘em and conquer Moab with them.
