About time they added AWD.

Read the latest issue of Car & Driver with the CTS-V.

Hopefully the interior makes leaps and bounds improvements from the current line up. The new shifter though sucks. It’s not needed. I saw it in the new LaCrosse, which is a huge mistake for GM. That’s the car my 74 year old father test drove. It’s not a car for the young crowd.

CT6 has had AWD since day 1 with the 3.0 turbo

Now offer this in an AWD SUV or crossover and I'm in. Also not a fan of the newer Cadillac or Buick interiors.

Sorry DG. I thought they said it was being added to the CTS-V as well which desperately needs it.

Amazing...in more ways than one....CT6 sales have been abysmal, barely over eight-hundred a month for well over a year or so???....Yet they are doubling down on the worst selling model with a new engine and a performance version....lol...

I'm glad they are doing this. Especially keeping a full size four door sedan going with all the hype and demand for SUVs, etc. I hope it does well.

Are they throwing money away on a doomed segment? I hope not. Long live full size Sedans!!! Well done, GM and Cadillac.

(Maybe there's hope for the longevity of the Impala if they are going to sink this kind of effort into a Caddy....)...lol...

Any idea of an MSRP for the CT6 V-sport??

Pictured below is a poor man's full size sedan...lol...

Main difference between the CT6 & Impala is that the CT6 probably sells for about twice as much on average, with most of that difference being profit. Its a lot easier to swallow slow sales with a high transaction price.

Yes. I was speaking to the sales, rather than the tech details.

CT6 sales are low, but to be fair they're in line with the competition. It outsells the 7-series and A8, only the S-class outsells it.

Saw that and love it. Cadillac and Lincoln still try and grab the attention of the younger demo but it doesn't seem to be working.
