2650 on LT4 with 91oct?

I am wondering if anyone has seen or could accurately speculate a lt4 with minor to no other upgrades would make with just a 2650 swapped onto it? Considering the gt500 is making pretty close to 800 flywheel and high 600’s to the wheels as well as trapping 133mph on pump gas. I wonder what the LT4 would do with the same size blower on pump.

That's 800 crank hp which is probably around 675 at the wheels. You should be able to get pretty close that et with one of our 2650 Magnuson's with drag radials and a tune. Mike Sitar's sons 18 SS was bone stock except for the 2650 and his went 10.80s on 7-8 lbs of boost with 20" drag radial on 91 octane on the stock canned tune.

All besides the 2650 is bone stock down to the air filter.

I’m running a 2650 on an otherwise stock ZL1, with the Magnuson tune and on 91.

If the mustang has port injection and Direct injection I would get the Mustang. I know some platforms have both. The power will not be the issue its the money you will spend trying to feed it fuel!

Take a look at both 2650s available and see how you plan to fuel them before you choose one or the other.

Stock LT4 blower, headers, rotofab, and E50 will make 670-690whp depending on Dyno. You don't even need a blower swap for that power level, just some simple bolt ons.

Not looking to make a certain number. Just wondering what the Lt4 would make if it was running the same size blower as the mustang. Sounds like it’s pretty similar.

You can easily make what that Mustang does.

That’s awesome. I had to run the 75mm to get 14-15psi. Then I turned it up with the 70mm to see my fuel systems
As t strong enough.

Based on Mike’s numbers, sounds like the 80mm pulley, 103mm tb/snout, Rotofab, and updated tune are the way to go. It’d be another 90-100hp and I’d be done...

When can I drop it off in Ventura???
