Cooling temp

Quick question my C7 is running at 220 on the gauge , tech says this is normal temp.

Is this correct as it seems to high, no warning lights stays at 220 when driving, would appreciate some input.

My 2013 Silverado 6.2 gauge stays right on 220* any time the engine is warm. I've logged it with my HP Tuner and at an actual 182-184 is when it reaches 220 on the gauge. Normally it runs in the upper 190s. Never has it reached 220 while I've been logging even last summer but the gauge is always on 220.
