As I understand it they are only importing several thousand as it is made entirely "down under"

I love my C7 but I have seen the SS a couple of times and really think it is a good looking car and fills that void that the G8 used to be in. Its interior is really nice, if I had kids and wanted a compromise I would pick this car in a heartbeat. Of course I would do some modifications to ensure it was the fastest kid hauler out there.

Totally agree. Chevy made a mistake by taking an old Impala body and putting a big engine in it. Definitely not worth it's base price.

And unless you knew about the car (and most people don't) they'd never be able to tell that it has a big engine in it. IF this car lasts to a refresh, Chevrolet really needs to fix it.
