Corevettes and lifts

I am looking at purchasing a lift for the vette. This is the one that seems to make the most sense http://www.workshopaddict.com/forum/...wsa-100-a.html

It would allow for another place to park in the winter and open up some room. But is it too good to be true? They are not expensive and would be nice for waxing and cleaning.

I would like to hear your opinions

4 posts are ok for parking but if you do any service work they're not so good. Ramps obstruct much of the cars underside, wheels can't be removed without auxiliary jacks . You can in fact park a second car underneath a 2 post side by side lift, as they have safety locks. I did this for 20+ years at my repair shop. Get a good 2 post and you'll have the best of both worlds

I have had both for hobby work and currently have a 4 post which I prefer. If you are doing serious repairwork 2 would be better. I doubt if the air bridge will fit under the vette but havent measured it. When I put my crew cab ford on the 2 post (10K) they suggest a broom stick under the rear to keep it from rockiing.
