Rear Valance detailing product suggestion

What have you had success with getting the black back on the valance?
I've been using Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer while it does look good initially I'm not really satisfied with the lasting effects, after a wash or rain it looks streaky (the fading showing through) where the water ran down over it.

Now i would have to add that the valance when i got the car was pretty faded from sun exposure where it had a slight grayish tone to it. (bleached out)
I might try the stuff i use on the tires Black Magic Tire Foam and see if that holds up better.
I'm also considering replacing the valance as a last resort.
TIA for any suggestions or experiences.

More than likely, replacing it is your best bet. I personally don’t use those products as they end up degrading the finish, over time, imho.

I agree with replacing if you're wanting it back to original. The chemicals will make it look better for a while, but overall it'll just fade again with time and rain.

For when there is something like wax that caused some whitening, I use white vinegar (maybe diluted a bit depending...) and a microfiber towel. That does a good job of cleaning w/o damaging the panel.

But yours sounds like it's past the point of no return.

A heat gun on a low setting works on some plastics. Google it and see whats out there.

Thanks for the suggestions, I watched a couple YT videos comparing trim restorers some do a good job others not so much and I guess it depends on how far gone the plastic is to begin with.
As for the heat gun method mentioned I watched a vid on that, pretty amazing but some commenters mentioned it will dry out the plastic and make it become brittle over time and heat cycles.
I know it’s kind of a pita to get that valance off with the chances of breaking retaining clips so I’m going to give Cera trim restorer a try and see how it does, I if not I can then go the replacement route.

I would just be sure and get a factory replacement diffuser if your going to replace it because I got an aftermarket piece, and it doesn't fit to well

Yes i saw those 'grey market' ones, priced to good to believe and if i change the diffuser I'm going to go with the quad tip opening one and switch over to used npp mufflers from ebay.
