Ceramic coating

I have been getting pop up ads on Facebook for ceramic coating. Wondering if if I should consider applying to my 2013 SS Vert. Hoping folks can weigh in with effectiveness, value, benefit (?)

Thanks in advance

I had my 13 zl1 done in February .They did a paint correction and applied the ceramic coating and I am very pleased with it . Now all I have to do is hose it off and dry it and it looks great . Brake dust just washes right off also . I wish I had done it sooner .

I bought a $40 bottle from Amazon and it’s enough to do it twice. Lasted about a year and really is worth it. You can literally just hose off the car and dry it and it looks like you just waxed it. Water doesn’t stay on it at all neither does dust really.

I just used Adam's ceramic spray, didn't go full crazy on getting a full ceramic kit, but I think that will be my next project. Once I get a new daily and my 2012 can be a fair weather car, I'll do a full 3 stage paint correction and then a real ceramic.

Even just the adam's spray worked great though. Excited to see how long it will actually last.

Here's a little before and after adam's 1 step polish and then ceramic spray.

I ceramic coated 2 cars with adams 9h ceramic coating. Cant praise it enough. Dirt doesn't stick nearly as much. Water sheds off ridiculously. Only downside is if you let hard water sit on the car. Ceramic coatings are not very good with water etching. That being said I noticed, being in FL and all, that I don't get nearly as many water spots when washing/drying

There's a YouTube channel "Scott H", he does test on automotive paint protection (wax, sealants, coatings). He tapes off a hood, leaves it in the elements and washes it every test and sees if the hydrophobic properties are still there which would indicate if the coating failed or not.

i used Cquartz like 3 years ago, It lives in a garage and the clear coat still looks amazing. definitely research and get a spot light so you dont miss spots cause once it sits its hard to get off.

Wet your whistle and go to Walmart and buy a bottle of Turtle wax ceramic spray. It looks way better then wax. If you like the look then go full ceramic..or do what I do....just use the spray.

After the testing I have been doing, I would recommend the 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating. It's easier to work with (as long as you go a section at a time and buff it off BEFORE it fully hazes over) has a better look, and bugs clean off easier.
