P90x vs p90x3

This could be posted in weight management thread but I'm hoping a separate post will get more attention. a few years ago I started doing p90x and loved it. I'm pretty heavy and was still able to do a majority of the exercises correctly even if it wasn't for the same duration. Unfortunately I did not follow thru with this program. I want to start again so I thought about trying p90x3. Did 20 minutes and feel like it's way out of my league. Pull-up crunches and touching your toes backwards to the floor isn't halpening for me. is p90x3 designed for very active people in the sense that the workouts are way tougher but less physical time? Which would a "beginner" benefit from more.

I've tried P90x and P90x3 and imo P90x3 is the better of the two for beginners. It's far better and easier for new people who have never worked out before to get into and stick with. It requires less equipment and it is only 30 minutes long vs the original hour to hour and half, two of the reasons why it introduces new workouts that incorporate different parts of the body into one move. I wouldn't say they are tougher, they simply have you move your body and muscles in ways that most people aren't use to. Try some workouts in P90x2 and you will see the workouts in P90x3 are pretty basic.

Thank you this is what I seem to read online so far also. I just started the p90x3 and the first couple workouts intimidated the crap out of I guess I should give it more time thank you

P90X3 seems to be pretty fast paced too. I think in order to lose weight they try to keep your heart rate up more. I like it better than P90X.
