2015 Corvette C7 Z06 testing at the Nurburgring Crashes
from the article: After we recived the video tp post we got a photo showing the yellow Corvette Z06 sitting in the middle of the track after it apparently crashed. We see the damaged front end and fluids leaking out from underneath while a track worker is sweeping debris. 4 pictures and video in the gallery . |

That's Jim Mero... the well-experienced infamous GM Engineer/Driver who drove the C6 ZR1's best 'Ring time record back in 2011. Either some type of mechanical/equipment failure, surface grip issue or track obstacle, or he just pushed it extremely hard beyond its limits. Who knows but what a bummer... part of R&D though!
