Yeah the calibration for temp is off.. u should be allowed to adj warm & hot temps urself to allow for different tires needing different temps..
Im tempted to spray can air upside down lower temp to below zero see when it would say cold lol
..
I called my dealer aksed them to call gm corvette rep..

Based on several days of daily driving with cold mornings and warmer afternoons, it seems the cold/warm point is right around 40 degrees. This makes sense as the tires are not intended to be driven under 40. According to the owner's manual, "warm" indicates the temp range for normal driving conditions. I don't believe you're experiencing any kind of malfunction.

I would think warm would start on what it considered warm for a tire temp when it has grip.. starting lowest 60..
well so far i checked at the lowest 44 degrees..
i should park the car outside again.. then check tire temp then check tire temp monitor..
42 degrees right now suppose to be 39 degrees at midnight..
Operation Tire Temp has commenced

I did think the same, that it wasn't working, until it dropped below 40 here. Low and behold, "cold" showed up. And believe me, the tires don't grip well until they warm up a little. Do keep in mind, the sensors are for the tire temp, not the air temp. The display also isn't using just the tire temp from the sensors, but several other factors too, to show the overall state they are in. Per the manual, "hot" indicates ideal range for best track performance, not that the tire is dangerously overheated, etc.

Yea the pirelli's r the same way when freezing. All performance tires r..
Yeah. I know it reads tire pressure sensor temp with sone othe things to guess tire temp..
Yeah figure hot means tire nice hot & sticky since track vid showed hot..
Im check later when in 30s.. my laser thermometer tells temp of surfaces so I'll use that on tire again...

anyone find out yet what tire temp they turn hot??

Today was colder.

Turn on car: says warm
Drive maybe 1/3 mile: says cold (had been on other menus in the mean time)
Drive about 4 more miles: remains saying cold

It looks like it works, but doesn't work until you drive it a little.
