From Now until Sunday May 31st at 10PM CDT. We have a variety of specially prices rolls and sheets of Hexis 3D Carbon Fiber Wrap available.
The materials textured / 3D / woven looking surface catches light just like true dry carbon giving it a rich depth as well as a tactile response! Because of its extreme flexibility, high conformability, HEXPress adhesive facilitates air egress thus avoiding bubbles and creases during application - fast and risk free applications are practically guaranteed. It is particularly recommended for complex compound curved surfaces and long-term outdoor applications. Hexis HX30000 is the ideal high-end solution for vehicle applications with long life cycles. The material is very flexible and highly conformable. What can you cover? You can overlay almost anything with a clean smooth surface! Popular applications include smart phones, laptop cases, and other electronics. Popular vehicle applications include the roof panel, hood, trunk lids, spoilers, chrome trim, interior trim and more. The list really does go on! What are you going to wrap? |

Had a question posted on another forum we support from a member asking about the comparison to 3M Di-Noc and 3M 1080 Series. Thought we should share our reply here too.
When we started selling this Hexis Wrap in 2010 we did so after exhaustive research and have continually kept up with the new contenders – including 3M’s recently launched 1080 series of wrap materials. 3M has always been behind in the automotive wrap field and the 1080 series is their attempt to gain some ground. It has gained ground but is far from a market leader. Di-Noc is an interior architectural finish. It was never meant as a vehicle wrap, and was never really meant to be removed. Lots of people did use it for a lot of unintended applications as there were not many choices ~10 years ago. A table from 2010 we made up to show the differences. Hexis is now available in 60” wide rolls vs the 54” wide rolls in 2010. How does 3M want Di-Noc removed? From their own 3M’s 1080 series is a good wrap material, but the textured carbon varieties are thinner than Hexis and in our trials were easier to tear during application as a result. We felt Hexis was the best global carbon wrap when we added it in 2010 and still feel it is the best option for those looking for a dry carbon wrap. It was designed from the start for full vehicle wrapping and its performance is proven long term. User friendly application is a bonus. Hope that helps. |

A number of wrap questions have cone in recently.
When trying to figure out how much wrap you need you need to start by measuring what you want to cover. for something small like electronics or trim adding about an inch on all sides is helpful for larger panels - hood roof etc adding a few inches on each side is a good starting point http://www.headlightarmor.com/carbon...inyl-wrap.aspx Do you need a heat gun or will a hairdryer work? For anything other than something mainly flat, yes you need a heat gun as a hair dryer will not get hot enough for the final step in the application process. Do you still have samples? Yes they are currently on the site here just for forum members. Let us know if you have any additional questions. |

A few carbon questions from the weeks emails.
If doing something other than mainly flat you do need a heat gun. A hair dryer will get it hot enough to work but the final step is heating edges and areas of significant deformation to a higher temp than a hair dryer achieves. This post heating sets the memory of the material so that it will want to stay in the shape it is applied to. Cutting the material does require a very sharp new blade. an xacto will work but the blade does to be new. the NT knife we have on the site is very sharp and great for most cuts. A fine point xatco is good for intricate / small cuts. As always good luck with your installs and feel free to ask any questions you may have - either here, via messaging or via contact us email on the site. Have a great weekend. |

In keeping with new security regulations and payment card industry standards the secure areas of our site (cart and checkout process) now require your browser to be TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 compliant.
If you are using an older device with either an insecure operating system or outdated browser that does not support either TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 you will need to upgrade your browser to check out at a PCI compliant website like ours. Current TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 supported browsers include:
Hope that helps as we have had a few reports from customers with older browsers getting an error that the secure page could not be displayed. |
