Fresh wheels, anyone?

Saw this on our local news channel last night. That dealer is one of the bigger Camaro and Vette dealers in town. And now there are fresh C6 Camaro wheels and tires on the black market!
Check Ebay soon! LOL

Recent thefts at Atlanta dealerships where they took whole cars (lots of 'em) also highlights a lack of security at those places.

You sure this isn’t an old story? If it’s not, it’s not the first time something very similar has been posted here.

wow, I worked at a large dealer in the 80's, where I worked as a porter, one Monday morning came in and around 9 trucks were gone. Stolen overnight, I guess the security guard was napping....They started with the diesels to mow down the fences and drove out what they could. I think the thieves were caught a few weeks later.

I know it was a recent theft. They say that the thieves had hit other dealers in and around TX as well. Same MO with the blocks of wood or dropping them on the rotors.

And no way would I feel safe leaving my car with that dealer!!

I think this was done by one guy, driving a Honda Civic. You can catch him on Tues nights on CW... The FLASH.

Otherwise you would have to have a massive amount of people and big trucks and lots of jacks to get away with that many wheels on a lot in one night.

we had similar deal in Richardson Tx(Dallas area) dealer a friend of mine worked at - hit about 40 trucks probably same group. No video (amazed) think about think about the size of truck needed to haul away 160 truck tires and wheels! would take several guys hours IMO
