Nah... we lost them when they took their hands off the steering wheel to wave back.

Kind of dating myself, I remember riding around in my mom's 71 Vette in the late 70's and early 80's and the Vette owners used to give the V/peace sign to each other. Maybe it was an LA/California thing? I would say what I have noticed is the V6 guys are the most friendliest and wave/acknowledge the most.

I only wave at cars now that I can tell are somewhat modified by the owner unless the driver is clearly looking over at my car. There are a couple people in town that I never met but we alway give the wave or a flick of the headlights when we are passing by. However, I seem to get a lot more waves from Corvette owners and people with classic muscle cars though.

I can confirm there seems to be an unspoken brotherhood of all yellow car owners. It's an interesting social dynamic.

We were on a car cruise a couple weekends ago. There was a Vette in front of me (not in our group) and he and other Vettes would all wave at each other. Whenever I passed another Camaro I would give a wave and no wave back. Seems pretty common.

I only wave when I'm on my bike, and it's to other riders...

I've never heard of waving too other drivers, driving the same car as you lol.

Sometimes I'll nod at someone but that's as far as it will go.
