Truth in advertising

I was perusing my window sticker and noticed something very interesting. My V6 with 2.92 gears, is shown on the sticker has having "Tap shift"!
But we all know that the feature is turned off on my car and instead get "ERS" mode.
I have seen threads about using a tuner to enable the tap shift and it works fine. But doing so will void the warranty.
Do you believe that this is false advertising? Think maybe if taken to GM, they could be persuaded to allow the option?

I received a debit card for $450.00 because my sticker had the wrong Miles per gallon on my 2016 Traverse. Not sure same issue though.

There is probably a note or fine print on the label somewhere that says something to the effect of "unless replaced by blank option" I see window stickers for all sorts of new GM cars and they usually have a standard base build on the left and an later replaced with whatever option it was ultimately built with on the right side of the label.

read through it all. did not see any of that. Like it shows spare tire delete on left, but shows the added option of spare tire on the right. cuz mine has factory spare.

That is just a list of "standard" equipment for the vehicle. Actual delivered car would be listed under options, etc. Can you show the whole sticker?

I just can't believe GM only gave a default warranty of 3/36 on these cars.

Look at Hyundai and KIA. Amazing warranties on those cars. But then of course you are driving a Hyundai or KIA.
