DvKillar, as mentioned I also have a 2014 and here is a photo showing the trim alignment door to dash is off a similar amount to your car. The clear section at the top margin of the door trim is where the factory lightube shines through. Wondering if the left side of dash in some 14's and our two cars was set slightly low at the factory when it was dropped in.

I don't think you can adjust the front hinges of these doors. They align them to spec, or supposedly to spec, before welding them on I believe.

These doors are not welded on. They are bolted on with hinges.

They are within factory specs. It's alarming these days what passes for acceptable from manufacturers. Myself, I would leave it be.

Must be a v6 option. And you did say welded.

You'll have to try harder. Actually, I stated the hinges could be welded on, not that the doors are welded on to the body.

It still has hinges for the door to open, but I suggested they may be welded on to the body structure. However, after looking at mine, it looks as though the hinges are bolted on to the body and the door, but they may not be adjustable on the body side. I don't know.

As for the V6 thing. Well, every day I get to drive my car, I simply LOVE it. The power this little 323 hp V6 has just amazes me. If and when I ever need more power to butt hurt some V8 owners, I can always upgrade to F.I. And, I can do it for less money than it would cost to get a V8 Camaro if you account for depreciation.

For me, the power is enough right now and with the 6sp manual and 7K rpm redline, I love rowing through the gears in this thing. The best part? I paid only $18.9K brand new for the experience.

How much did you pay?

Your a little sensetive today Bo The hinges are bolted to the door first...a lift assist is used to then bolt the door to the body. The only adjustments that are made lineside is gap specs.

Reminds me of when I was in the dealership and a woman pointed out a small blemish in the paint on a Caprice. Apparently she had been there for some time before I came in because the salesman sighs and says, "It's a Chevy, lady, not a Mercedes."

I wouldn't mess with it either.
