like others have said... keeping the toe around zero really minimizes wear. On my old bimmer, i kept it -2.0 camber for autocross, and never switched to 0 camber on the street. Towards the end of the life of the street tires, you could see gradually more tread going outward from 0 to a few mm on the outward edge. That might have caused my to change them earlier, but it wasn't much.

The performance supplement says to do 0.1 degrees of toe - I assume 0 is still preferable for a DD with some track days vs a competitive track car?

I'm too understanding Toe is the problem, I've gotten that "camber wrecks tires" while trying to get it aligned and then you get the deer in the headlights look when you tell them it's Toe and not Camber that does that.

Fyi, i could not possibly get 20 track days out of a set of tires if my life depended on it. I think a good average is about 6 to 7 days (a day being about 4×30min sessions). Beyond it, the tread is gone, so any DD in wet becomes an issue. Also, by then they may also cord, but that might be venue dependent.
My alignment is 2.6F 1.6R 0 F toe and slight R toe in to keep her rear in check. The pic is one of my stockers after 6 days. Note slight cording on the inside, but otherwise very nice wear. Cheers!

PS Yes, excessive toe will eat rubber quick, but so will incorrect camber, especially at a track. Driving skill matters here too btw, as invoking unnecessary understeer will also eat up rubber. Blah blah blah Have fun!!!

Same. The track alignment should have been the default alignment.
