Yesterday afternoon I gave mine a little wash off then went and topped up with no alcohol hi test. Went out in the country and burned through about a half tank of fuel while breaking a few local and state laws.
It was very therapeutic. |

Car events around here are very rare. Not many of them put on.

I was until the "social distancing" car show I attended today. It was essentially a car show parade. It was nice until the clown originally in front of me from the host club ran the red light and the guy who cut in front of me didn't. We got lost and the parade kind of fizzled after that for me. I caught up with a couple other participants, but even they got lost because their leader had done the same thing. All in all a good effort and it was very nice to get my Camaro out and stretching her legs (and FINALLY get rid of November's fuel from the tank). All in all a bad day driving your Camaro (which was far from what this was) is still better than a good day stuck inside all day because of COVID-19.

It sucks that all events are postponed/cancelled but this COVID-19 situation has made me realize how fortunate I really am. I have NO reason to complain because I am healthy and life overall is good with me. Other people can't say that right now and I can't imagine what some people are going through.
I will say though.....LS Fest West (here in Las Vegas) was supposed to happen next weekend. I was really looking forward to this event for months but, again, I can't really complain right now..

Killin' me but it sounds like it's finally coming to an end though after hearing the national news.
Either that or folks are gonna revolt. Took it for an eleven mile drive today and then spent hours detailing.

Oh yea for sure! But you know, I am so blessed that I am healthy and am still working and can still take my girl out for a cruise. A lot of folks in this world are not so fortunate and are having issues with this virus. I wish them all well and soon enough things will get back to some kind of "normalcy". Stay safe and stay well all !!

It sucks but like others have said here, I just consider myself very lucky that my job is good and steady. A lot of folks out there hurtin' right now and that's no good.
For the car events, my granddaughter keeps asking me when the SNCC (Southern Nevada Camaro Club) is going to start up their events again. I think she misses them as much or more than I do...grin... |
