Does adding air scoop require a retune?
Will I need a retune when I add my air scoop to my L99? I have LT’s with HF cats and a cold air unit. I’ve been searching the site to find the answer to this question with no success.

No, the minimal amount of air from a scoop should be learnable without a retune, imo.
I installed a stage 2 PTB today, replacing my stock unit. Idle was slightly off for a few miles and has been driving better all day the longer I drove it. But I did pull the battery for 5 mins before I started the car. If you didn't have ANY tune, then I would think yeah, maybe you should get a tune. But the proof will be after you install it and drive it for a bit. Not all these cars respond the same to mods. But no better time than now to clean your filter and MAF. Every oil change and halfway in between I clean my filter and spray my MAF with CRC MAF cleaner.
