I'm planning to get a set of Nitto tires as well but I can't come up with a decision on which one to purchase.

you can go with NT555 for daily use. NT05 if you want a drag radial. The NT05 are a soft compund. You will hook really good but the downside is that they wont last long as a daily street tire.

Solution: buy a pair of rear wheels and run NT555 on your daily and NT05 on the second set of wheels when you wanna go to the dragstrip

Anyone ever run a set of the P-Zero 315s they put on the BMW X5/X6s? Curious if being factory SUV fitment there's anything different about them. I see take off sets with good tread on craigslist for reasonable prices.

when i first bought the car brand new, i thought that the pirellis were the best tire in the world........then i went through the first rear set in less than 20k miles and the second set in 14k. i did 2 small burnout.on the first set, none on the second. car runs smooth as silk on the road but wear is bad. dont know if the 315s would be different

Drag strip i would choose m/t ets any day over nittos, big difference in traction especially when you start bumping up the hp

Hey guys what can I run on my factory 2SS RS wheels? They are 20" rims but not sure the width. Any help would be great. I ran 315/35/17s on my 93 and loved the look.

widths are 8" in the front and 9" in the rear for the factory RR/SS wheels

i wouldnt run 315s on the 9" stock RS/SS wheels. some members here have run them on 10" wheels but you really should use an 11" wide wheel for 315s on these cars.

No. Get some wider replicas if you want the stock look
