I saw the premier 2 nights ago, and the camaro is freking awesome in the movie. I was already sold on the car, but that completely sealed the deal, I went to my local chevy dealer last night and put 500.00 down to get my name on the list to guarantee me first dibs on the camaro.

Awesome movie by the way best ive seen in quite a long time.

Really!?!? you work for someone in Hollywood or something? Or are you pulling our armpit timing chains...

And howcome Megatron doesn't have to choose a skin? Is he too good for a gas tanker truck, or something?

I'd be careful about that "guarantee" a lot of dealerships have been offering dibs on the new camaro. and you only put down $500.00 for it? is that money actually going to be going to the car or to the guy at the dealership that you handed it to? id get something on paper just to be safe

500.00 is the minimum they would accept, I asked if it would help if I put down more, he said not really. The 500.00 basically just lets me place my order first, and yes it goes to the dealer as part of my down payment once the orders go in, was told in September. V6's to come out first, soon to follow V8's.

I can't freaking wait

I was also told that most of the dealers took deposits before chevy actually said they were going make the car, chevy forced these dealers to return the money, now that they actually committed to producing the car dealers are allowed to take deposits.
