I just checked mychevroletapp and I'm not enrolled in any of that shit. I'll call onstar this morning and make sure they are sending data and if so cancel that. Thanks for letting us know about all this crap they've been tracking.

According to OnStar they have no tracking only diagnostics but when I down loaded the Chevrolet app on my phone I found out smart driver was activated?
I unenrolled and deactivated it hopefully that takes care of it?
I also have state farm and tend to drive fast and fun with the car

My letter would be we have decided to CANCEL your policy .....

For all you guys checking your MyChevrolet App... I take it you are all enrolled in some OnStar program already? I have the app but never used it, so I reset my account and logged into it. For all 3 of my Chevy vehicles all it says is "Ready to activate your OnStar Safety and security services? Drive a safer, more connected vehicle today."

Then here is a button to enroll. So I assume none of my vehicles have any OnStar services activated. I can not find any option for smart driver.

My app says the same. I just don't click it but under the "more" tab at the bottom Chevrolet smart driver is in that list. Mine was turned on?

Ah.. Ok.. Ya, mind says "Enroll in Smart Driver" so mine is not turned on. That is for my wifes '15 Impala. She does use the remote services for OnStar. For my Tahoe and Camaro under "More" there isn't even an option for Smart Driver. I would assume that is because I do not have OnStar services at all for either of those two vehicles. So it looks like I'm good!

Checking on MyChevrolet ap, my 2020 Blazer was enrolled but my 2017 Camaro was not. Now they both are not enrolled.

I suggest everyone download the Chevy App and disable this yourself. (As I just did)

I wouldn't trust some GM employee's word that this was done.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

1)Download Chevrolet App (I did this on iPhone)

2)Tap on "More" (Lower right corner)

3) Tap on "Chevrolet Smart Driver"

4) Tap "Unenroll"

5) Give "Reason For Cancelling" (GM forces you to give a reason, I tapped "Other")

6) You will get the "We will miss you"....You are now unenrolled.

I was not enrolled in an OnStar program but THEY WERE STILL TRACKING MY DRIVING HABITS.

Seems one has nothing to do with the other.

Yeah something we may have to check every so often? My concern would be they automatically re enroll after an update or something? If that happens I will start cutting wires!

Chevrolet Smart Driver still shows in the menu of my Chevrolet App, but when I tap on it, it shows I am not enrolled.

As you see, it is giving me an option to enroll again.

I have a 2023 ZLE, so maybe that explains it. (Updated tech?)

Or maybe because you are in Edmonton.

My 21 Camaro was not enrolled, but my 2018 Equinox Premier was. Unenrolled now.
