Not like the old days where a can of gas can save you.

I laugh because so many Tesla's I see have a license plate mocking gasoline. It's just ironic.

California has a power crisis as it is, imagine adding a couple million electric cars to a system undergoing rolling brown outs now.

This reminded me of last week when I used the pumper in the trunk to pump up my flat tire. I don't have a spare tire but that pumper works pretty good. It's a noisy bastard but it better than jacking up the car in my opinion. |

It takes around $10-$11 worth of gas to charge a model S to around 90% that’s a range of around 300ish miles. Plus it’s one of the fastest cars built and nearly zero maintenance. Think about that. A no worry car, no oil changes, differential, methanol etc. While it’s true that there’s plenty energy and pollutants released when making the batteries, if any of us really cared about that, we wouldn’t be driving hopped up cars with no cats and outrageous mods and and license plates that read FSTRNU getting 10 mpg on premium fuel. Has my golf cart ever ran out of juice? No...because I’m an adult who knows how to make sure I’m charged, much like I know when to go to the gas station when my Camaro is almost empty (duh). I’ve never been late for anything, nor has anyone I know that owns a Tesla.
