What would happen if you just did a cam swap no upgrade to the timing chain or pushrods ect.?

6100 for cam/heads omg.
I guess that is in line with what other high end shops are charging but damn that much money for 486 whp, you could've went straight to the bottle and made that with a 75 shot.

the LT1 requires more work than the LS3 it replaced. Part of the problem is that GM used silicone instead of gaskets. So it gets little messy to clean up and reinstall. Then you gotta change the lifters and get rid of all that fuel saving crap. A love cammed engines, but with the labor to get one. I predict blowers will be more popular now. |

This sets the foundation for the nitrous I planned on anyway. Goal for the car is a 9 second pass, at least as quick as my mustang hopefully. |

Any word on those before and after graphs? What is your highway MPG looking now when you cruise at 75-80mph on I-75?

Mine did 401/403 IIRC with an A8 on the same Mustang dyno that the OP's car was on. Numbers in my signature are post tune/PTB only. Same day/same dyno with higher air temps in the garage in the afternoon. Took us from 12.3 to 11.9 with similar DA's.
